Surprisingly tastey
Much like the survival boat rations these bars are easy to eat and get down. The bonus of the added flavor (i tried the blueberry and raspberry) made these a notch above the regualr plain bars. I;ll be putting a few of these in my daily pack and in my car.

Have tried many emergency rations. These are similar but have an edge with the added flavor/essence. Easy on the go energy and very tasty.

Great taste
These are very good tasting and easy to eat. They feel hard, but break easily and have the texture of a cookie when chewed. Not very filling, but will definitely hold you over till your next meal

Tried many of the food bars that last forever. Most taste like saw dust and leave you dying of thirst. This one doesn't do that. I can drink my regular water or none at all. And they have a pleasant taste. Kinda like a really mild vanilla. They last a really long time so if i don't eat them on my present trip i know they'll still be good next time i go backpacking.
