This RefillPack is designed to replace expired supplies in an existing emergency kit. One Refill Pack replaces essential emergency supplies for 1 person (with 3 days of supplies). The supplies in this RefillPack come in a resealable plastic zip lock bag. The Label on the RefillPack allows you to track inspection and expiration dates. On the backside of the RefillPack Label is an Emergency Information Card.
The Emergency Food in this kit is ready to eat with no preparation required. Each food bar is divided into 6 premeasured 400 calorie meals. These non-thirst provoking emergency food bars have a pleasant lemon flavor and are enriched with vitamins and minerals that exceed the RDA recommendations. They hold up in extreme temperature of between -40° F and 300°F (-40°C to 149°C) and contain no cholesterol or tropical oils. In addition, each food bar is safe for vegetarians and those allergic to nuts. The Emergency food and water in this kit has a 5 year shelf life.
