The Basic Backpack Emergency Kit is designed to provide 3 person with essential emergency supplies for 3 days (72 hours). That's how long FEMA estimates you may be without basic services or how long it can take first responders to reach you in the event of a disaster. This survival kit features emergency food and water, a first-aid kit, a hand-squeeze LED flashlight (no batteries required) and more.
The food and water in this emergency kit has a 5 year shelf life, and the food ration is safe for those with nut allergies (contains no nuts) and vegetarians (contains no meat products).
Supplies in this Basic Emergency Kit are stored in a heavy duty red or black PVC nylon water-resistant backpack with adjustable shoulder straps (suitable for small and large adults). The backpack features 4 storage compartments (including the water bottle holder). The easy access main compartment allows you to get to your supplies without having everything fall out.
The Basic Backpack Emergency Kit is suitable for use in emergency situations including: earthquakes, tornadoes, winter storms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and extreme heat and cold.
