The Home Pack Backpack Emergency Preparedness Kit is designed to provide two people with a set of comprehensive emergency supplies to last for up to three days (72 hours). That's how long FEMA estimates you may be without basic services or how long it can take emergency personnel to reach you in the event of a disaster. This disaster kit is most suitable for those who believe they will leave their home in the event of a disaster.
Supplies in this Grag-n-Go emergency kit are stored in a heavy duty "EMERGENCY KIT" backpack which makes this the perfect grab-n-go solution when you need to leave on a moments notice.
The Emergency food and water in this kit has a 5 year shelf life and is approved by the United States Coast Guard and the Canadian Transport Authority.
The Emergency Food in this kit is ready to eat with no preparation required. Each food bar is divided into 6 premeasured 400 calorie meals. These non-thirst provoking emergency food bars have a pleasant lemon flavor and are enriched with vitamins and minerals that exceed the RDA recommendations. They hold up in extreme temperature of between -40° F and 300°F (-40°C to 149°C) and contain no cholesterol or tropical oils. In addition, each food bar is: safe for vegetarians and those allergic to nuts, is Kosher, and meets the dictates for Halal.
The Emergency Radio (KA332W) included with the Home Pack Emergency Kit can be charged using one of four different methods: Hand-Crank, Solar Panel, 3 AAA Batteries (Optional), or AC Adapter (Not Included). This radio receives NOAA, FM, and AM Bands. In addition, it has a built-in super bright LED flashlight and mobile phone charger that works with all mobile phones using your existing USB charging cable.
The Home Pack Emergency Kit contains a set of emergency supplies that exceed the guidelines established by FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security and is suitable for use in emergency situations including: earthquakes, tornadoes, winter storms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and extreme heat and cold.

All that I expected and more. Wish previous packs had life time water with no expiration date.

The backpack is good quality. Seems that most things you would need in an emergency are in the backpack and there is still some room for adding miscellaneous items.

Affordable and enough items for 72 hours of shelter in place.
